Sometimes bra commercials do their job too well and women end up buying fancy-looking bras just because they liked or believed the commercials. No matter the cause, you should never compromise on comfort when choosing a bra.
Comfort is given by the right size (a bra must never feel tight in any spot) and the right cup (a bra must always hold and envelop the breasts perfectly). Wearing the wrong bra is not only uncomfortable but it can also have negative consequences on your health. Let’s review some of the side effects of wearing the wrong bra.

Any tissue that is squeezed for a longer period of time will start to ache, and that is true for breast tissue too.

It happens because the tight bra straps pull on the shoulders while trying to support the breasts. If the bra is extremely tight, it can even cause blisters on the shoulders, under the straps.

It is an indirect consequence of the whole shoulder, neck and upper chest area being tense for a long time because of the incorrect distribution of weight.

Wearing a loose bra counters the whole idea of wearing a bra. Normally, you wear a bra to support your breasts, especially during more ample body movement, and to keep them from swinging.

The lymph vessels and nodes in the breasts are extremely sensitive to pressure, so wearing the wrong bra can adversely affect the correct circulation of lymph and, in time, can lead to serious health problems.

Because of all the muscle tension in the upper chest, shoulder and neck area, you will involuntarily try to adjust your posture to minimize this tension. In time, this will lead to negative changes in posture, with the adjacent adverse health effects.
#8. Abraded skin
In extreme cases, if you wear a bra that’s way too tight for a long time, it will start causing skin abrasions under the breasts, on the breasts, on the shoulders and wherever else the bra is too tight.
#9. Shortness of breath
A tight bra will directly influence your breath. If your chest is constantly restricted, you will take only shallow breaths, which leads to lower blood oxygen levels, which leads to the body not functioning normally.
