What do you need for happiness? Perhaps, every person thinks over this question differently. According to a poll, taken by the DoubleTree hotel chain, in which more than 2,000 adults participated, we are really happy with the usual life trivia.

Perhaps you will be surprised to learn that most people are optimists: more than half of adults say that their attitude towards life is like a "half full glass", and 56% of this half consider themselves very happy. More than a quarter of respondents said that pleasant little things always cheer them up.

Studies have established that small surprises give us more happiness, and 82% of respondents said that the best things in life are unexpected.
