#1. Wipe off equipment after exercising

We all sweat at the gym, but it’s important to wipe off equipment with a towel after you use it.

Long phone conversations and loud music can be distracting and irritating for surrounding people. It’s better to use headphones to make people feel comfortable around you.

#3. Don’t take gym selfies

You should remember that people around you may not want to have their photos posted online.

#4. Don’t use the same equipment for hours

Do not use the same piece of equipment for too long. Don't run on the treadmill for hours if you see that someone else wants to use it too.

Are you an experienced fitness trainer? If your answer is no, you should realize that no one likes to hear your fitness advice.

#6. Be patient when someone is using equipment you need

Standing behind or around someone who's using equipment you need to use next is very impolite. It’s better to ask a person how much time they need to finish their exercise.

Get the timing right to avoid being late for personal training or group classes.

#8. Place equipment back where you found them

Whether it’s a dumbbell, a medicine ball or a jump rope, don’t forget to put equipment right back where you took it from when you’ve finished using it.
