Being over forty can make staying in shape more difficult than ever, but with these simple exercises, any woman can maintain her fit figure, no matter her age! Are you looking for an effective workout to burn fat and build muscles? We know how to help you! Lauren Brooks is a fitness trainer and the author of the book “Kettlebells for Women”. She recommends using kettlebell exercises to get you fit fast.

You don't need to buy a gym membership to get in shape, as you can perform workouts at home. This full-body kettlebell training routine consists of effective exercises such as kettlebell deadlifts, kettlebell swings, goblet squats, kettlebell presses, kettlebell rows and Russian twists. This full-body workout will leave you feeling stronger, fitter, and definitely sweaty!

These exercises focus on strengthening and toning the hamstrings, glutes, back and abs muscles. You should begin with an eighteen-pound kettlebell and then try to lift heavier weights.

If you're a beginner, you should rest for forty seconds between each set. If you're more experienced, you should rest for twenty seconds between sets. In order to obtain noticeable results, you should perform this training routine four-five times a week.

It’s also important to perform a five-minute warmup in order to avoid getting bone and joint injuries. It can be running, stretching or any other activity that you like.

Are you ready to start? Scroll down to see how to perform these kettlebell exercises correctly. By performing these moves regularly, you will build strength and a perfect, lean body. It’s time to sweat! You can do it, ladies!
