Heart attacks and heart issues are some of the most frequent causes of death, and sometimes the signs that you’re suffering are less than easy to notice. It seems than more often than not, people are very surprised to learn that they have heart problems, until they learn about symptoms that may have alerted them to their issue.

Here are 4 signs that you may not be aware can mean clogged arteries:

#1 Erectile Dysfunction (ED) in Men

If you’re a man, or live with a man, pay attention to what is happening with erections. If there is a sudden change in a man’s ability to have an erection, it could mean that the arteries around the pelvic area are clogged. This type of clogging typically occurs shortly before a heart attack. Sometimes ED can begin as early as five years before serious heart trouble will occur. So if ED is an issue, then men want to be sure to get their hearts checked right away.

Choosing to be bald and shaving all your hair off obviously isn’t what we’re talking about here. If you notice that you’re starting to go bald, especially on your head’s crown, take care and check your heart out.
