Despite a great progress in science and medicine, human's body is still one of the most mysterious things in the world. There is high number of processes, which stay poorly-understood and can't be explained by science.

Cancer is one of the most dangerous conditions that affects approximately 1 500 000 people in the US annually. It kills more than 500 000 Americans from year to year, being the second leading death cause after cardiovascular disease.

In cancer, malignant cells begin to grow and divide out of control anywhere in the body. It's even possible to have cancerous cells in the blood.

Malignant cells have ability to spread from their primary position to other organs and tissues, forming metastasis.

Depending on its locations, size and cellular compound, cancer can cause various symptoms, like abnormal vaginal discharge, nagging cough, new lump, non-healing sores, inexplicable fatigue and changes in bowel movements.

It's not uncommon for malignancy to stay symptomless, until it reaches advanced stage.

The good news is that we can minimize risks of getting cancer, even though we can't change family history and age.
