"I was scared of being in public, as I thought everyone was staring at me. My mom had a heart attack when she was forty-one, so when I reached thirty-nine I realized that I would die If I didn't change my lifestyle. My goal was to drop fifty pounds in one year. I reduced portions and replaced soda with clean water. I didn't wanted to push myself too hard, so I started with walking on a treadmill. Every day I added one minute of walking."

"One day I saw a photo of my mom. She was overweight and in a wheelchair, and I realized that my lifestyle can lead to obesity and many diseases too. I decided that I needed to change my life right then, in order to save my health.
