The thing is that all the moles that are harmless – they are all symmetrical. When the mole is weird-shaped and definitely asymmetrical that means that there is something wrong with it and you should check it out immediately.
A non-cancerous mole have very defined shape and border whereas cancerous is all shapeless and blurred. Once you notice one of those on our body you should better be alarmed.
A regular mole is of solid color no matter from what angle you look at it. The mole you should be worried about is the one that has a lot of shades mixed together with no definite one.
All the normal moles are pretty small in size, 6 mm in diameter the most. But all the other, bigger ones can be pretty dangerous and it is better you check it out.
