The search for shortcomings in other people is the mentality of a person, through which he maintains a sense of his self-esteem, by mental or verbal depreciation and criticism of the people surrounding him. When there is a desire to look for shortcomings in others, this indicates that a person is concerned about his own inferiority.
Do you know that by naming the qualities of a person we define ourselves? Any quality that we do not like in other people exists in ourselves somehow. It happens very often that we do not recognize it, we block, ignore and reject it.
This is a big problem of almost any person that our own shortcomings become irrelevant and begin to struggle with the shortcomings of the surrounding people, although the only thing that needs to be done is to bring order to our soul, head and inner world. Look at three ways you can deal with this situation:
#1. You can take advantage of this. This is a great opportunity to see what qualities you should change in yourself. If you think that other people criticize you too much, this can be your self-doubt and you can be too demanding of yourself. Work on yourself and change yourself for the better, and you will pay less attention to other people’s words.

#2. Do not make others responsible for what you feel. People often blame other people when they feel angry, sad or irritated. This is your inner reaction and you need to work on your reactions instead of blaming other people.
#3. Your relationships tell you to change. Think about the things that can hurt you in your personal relationship or in communication with your friends. Try to make changes in your attitude and emotions towards other people. If you think that you are giving too much and have nothing back, but step back and give a person an opportunity to show his attitude towards you.
