Life is a complicated thing, and no one can say that they figured it all out. Bad situations happen, and everyone deals the way they can or see fit.
It happens so that sometimes we those happy smiling people who seem to be happy about, just everything. It looks like they are blessed. They have houses, well-cared families, friends, jobs, etc. Have do they do it? Why is it so that life so unfair?
Well, wait a bit before you start judging or feeling jealous. Very often it happens so that people who tend to look perfect and live a happy life are very unhappy within. What is more, in most cases such people are deeply depressed and the darkest thoughts you can even hardly imagine come to their minds more often than you say ‘thank you.’
Yes, this is the reality, not always people who claim to be depressed are actually in that state and vice versa – happy people may be going down the road but with no one noticing it.
Why does such a thing happen? The reasons may be different and very often hidden in the past. The depressed people themselves may not know about what lies it the core. The most frequent reaction is a shame. Shame because their lives are so pretty and they feel like trash.
Whenever you meet such a person or maybe you even find yourself in such a place – think about what does your past hide that put on such a weight on you? It is often something personal, painful and unresolved not to mention untold.
What is the best piece of advice you may wonder? First of all, you should stop hiding. Stop the pretense, you may be grateful for what you have, but that is not the reason to hide away what you actually feel behind a happy mask. What is even better is to talk to someone you trust or find a professional to help you out. Once you share all that that was hidden for years, you will be reborn, and you will start enjoying your life for real!
