Taking a shower is not an easy task, but even in this case people make mistakes that can be harmful to their health. Experts have a firm opinion that taking a shower every day and taking it for a long time is a bad habit.

Too frequent washing breaks the natural microflora of the skin, impoverishing it with useful microorganisms that protect against infections and inflammatory diseases. Let’s find out what mistakes you should avoid, if you want to have beautiful and young skin:

#1. Leaving your loofah in the shower. It can get a lot of harmful bacteria that can pass onto your body during the next shower. Dead cells can remain there, which serve as an ideal medium for the propagation of harmful bacteria.

#2. Taking long showers. Long showers can overdry the skin. Also, there can be other problems: rash or itching. Remember: the shower should last about 10 minutes.

#3. Washing your hair everyday. Washing your hair every time you take a shower is not the best solution. Constantly washing away natural fats and oils produced to protect the hair from external factors, we force the sebaceous glands to secrete even more skin fat. As a result, the hair gets dirty faster.

#4. Rubbing yourself dry with a towel. To dry the skin properly is not less important than to wash it properly. Use a soft towel, leaving the body slightly wet. After that, do not be too lazy to moisturize your skin with your favorite cream or lotion, and it will be velvety and healthy!

#5. Delaying to apply moisturizer. You should apply a moisturizing lotion straight after taking a shower, when your skin does not become too dry.
