Group chats are the best and worst thing to happen to us. Some people cannot imagine their life without it and others become nervous when they hear sounds of texts. Love them or hate them, but although these text messages may actually lift your mood through the day, they may also ruin your whole day.

Elderly people claim that all these modern technologies make millennials lazy and lonely. Honestly, it does makes sense. Frankly speaking, group chats aren't that bad. In most cases, you text to group chats to laugh at something, discuss your holiday plans, get dating advice and get some help with outfits. All these things make you feel like you are not alone and that you always have someone to talk when you need it.

#1. We forgot about face-to-face interaction

A professor thinks that modern technologies prevent people from living their real lives. "When we know everything about our friends and their personal life through electronic communication, we become too poorly prepared for real, emotional conversations,"she added.

People get used to react to messages in one way - they think about a response and send a message. But when it comes to face-to-face communication, people don't know how ro react properly.

#2. We cannot control our thoughts

When we use group text chats regularly, we're getting used to sharing our thoughts and feelings as we are experiencing them. That's become a huge problem for us, as we share the information and react to people's messages at the same time, we don't have time to control our own thoughts.

On the other hand, a psychotherapist Nicole Amesbury have another opinion. He claims that human brain evolved in a social context and modern technologies can make our lives better.
