Luckier people stop suffering from acne once they leave the teenage-years zone. But some continue struggling and find it really problematic to get rid of acne completely. The list of reasons is extensive: poor nutrition, imbalanced diet, digestion-related issues. Skin is producing excessive amounts of sebum that blocks the pores, which leads to blackheads and, in less than sterile environment, to acne.

Find below 5 natural, safe-to-use face masks you can make and use at home to treat acne.

Before you start, a few precautions: Before applying any new treatment on a larger area of your skin, do a patch test and look for signs of allergies or irritation. Stronger ingredients can irritate delicate areas such as eyes and mouth, so avoid putting substances on them.
