How often do you pay attention to your body? Of course, you put on makeup every day, take a bath or shower carry out all the other beauty routines and when something hurts you head for the checkup. Is that correct? But, the truth is that there is so much more to your body than just that. If you are attentive enough, you can always tell when something goes wrong with you.
It is probably true that the least attention is paid to your urine, and that is not the best approach ever. The thing is that the color and the state of your urine can tell a lot about the state of your health in general. And that is exactly what we are going to talk about today. We will tell you what changes you should better be aware of and what they may be connected with.
We are used to the fact that urine is supposed to be yellowish, but it can be transparent as well. The thing is that if you drink too much water, your urine tends to lose its coloring. Drinking water is great, but when you get to the point when your urine loses its color, you should better reduce the water intake a little.
#2 Straw Color
When you are looking for the shade that healthy urine is bound to look like – pale straw color is the best it can get. Such a color of urine indicates that you are perfectly healthy and well-hydrated. Good job!
Yellow is the usual shade that we are used to, and it also proves that you are physically healthy and there is nothing to worry about. You can increase your water intake a little, but that is optional.
#4 Dark Yellow
When your urine gets darker than usual that is not a sign to start worrying greatly since you are still perfectly healthy, but you are a little bit dehydrated, a proper water amount will fix the issue. No worries here!
This when the things start to get tougher. If you notice that your urine is pretty dark-colored, it means that your body is on the edge of dehydration and you should restore your water balance as soon as possible in case you do not want to suffer from some further complications.
When your pee turns brown – there is rarely anything good coming out of it. We do not want to startle you, but brown urine may indicate problems with your liver and no one can tell you how serious the issue is until you visit your doctor.
Sometimes urine can have a pinkish or reddish tint after you eat blueberries or beets or anything of the kind. If that is not your case that means that there is some blood in your urine and that can’t be good; you must realize that. Very often when there is blood in your urine, it can be the symptom of kidney disease, urinary tract infections, lead, mercury poisoning, prostate problems, or tumor. As you may have already guessed all of these need proper diagnose and medical attention.
Orange pee can the sign of something or can be just false alarm. Most likely it is just the sign of dehydration, but in severe cases, this may be the result of liver dysfunction and food poisoning.
#9 Blue or Green
When you notice that your urine turns blue or green, it may scare you a lot, but the first thing you should think of is what you eat. Some food may add coloring to your urine so you can just wait a bit and observe if it is changing. If the color of your urine does not change you better visit a doctor since it may be the sign of some rare genetic condition, infection or something even more serious.
It is quite difficult to figure out whether your urine has been fizzy for a while if you never pay attention to it. The truth is that usually there is nothing wrong with you if your urine is a little fizzy. But if you start to observe it for a while and it is same and foaming that may mean that there is too much protein in your system or that there is something wrong with your kidneys that is why in order to be on the safe side you should better visit a doctor.
Now when you know what to watch out for, you are almost armed. We wish you to stay healthy!
