It may seem like something not worth paying attention to since it looks like we spend every spare minute on getting some more of sleep, but the majority of Earth's population does not sleep enough. The thing is that sleeping the required amount of time influences a lot of processes in your body and when you do not get enough of it, the processes disrupt, and it may lead to series of bad consequences.

No matter what some people may say but if you are not getting enough of sleep, your reaction slows down. It may seem like nothing serious until you are a tired driver who causes the deathly accident.
Another major risk that can come out of sleep deprivation is the inability to process information properly and to make decisions. What is more, in the long run it can cause damage to your brain which is never a good thing.
Not getting enough of sleep leads to memory problems as well, so you better be careful with that especially when you are trying to learn something new.
No matter how great it sounds that your emotions are heightened you should see it from the other side – when you are tired you are more likely to get into a fight or argument with no matter who, sometimes it may end up pretty nasty.
