#1. Compare the length of your inhale and exhale breathing

Inhale and count how many seconds it lasts. Most people inhale for three, four or five seconds. The number is not important - you just need to feel yourself comfortable. And then exhale for the amount of seconds you inhale. Do this exercise for one minute.

#2. Count the number of inhales and exhales you take

When you inhale, count to yourself: inhale on the count of one, exhale on the count of two, inhale on the count of three, exhale on the count of four... and so on to ten. Repeat this practice three times.

#3. Scan your body

Focus your attention on different body parts, starting from the top of your head and moving to your toes. Focus your attention on a particular body part and relax it. You have one minute to relax your eyes, jaw, neck, shoulders, chest, arms, belly and legs.

#4. Square breathing

Inhale on the count of four, hold your breath on the count of four, exhale on the count of four, hold your breath on the count of four. Repeat this meditation three times.

#5. Breathe with your belly

Take a long breath and imagine that you inflate a balloon in your belly. Feel how you belly is swelling as you inhale. Repeat this practice for one minute.
