Who wants to add several years to the life? A secret of longevity is out!

For a long time, scientists tried to find out, how can people stay off life-threatening illnesses and extend life span.

Surprisingly the most effective method is simple, cheap and available for everyone.

Everything you need is… being physically active at least 30 minutes every day.

Numerous studies, conducted by specialists from national health organizations, found that physical activity can help prevent heart disease, relieve depression, improve coordination, strengthen muscles, prevent age-related bone loss and even decrease risks of cancer.

Cardiovascular disease takes lives thousands of Americans from year to year, being the most common cause of death in our society. According to statistic data, one in each three deaths in the US is from cardiovascular disorder.

Together with poor diet and smoking, lack of exercises can significantly boost your risks of heart disease with or without fatal outcome.

One data, included nearly 1900 participants, showed that those who followed sedentary lifestyle, had five times higher risks of death in comparison with people, who were physically active.

Another research looked for difference in mortality rate between runners and non-runners. In the first group all-cause death rate was reduced by 30%, while chances to die because of cardiovascular disease were 45% lower compared with second group.

Even 15-minutes workout can give you health benefits and prolong your life. In one study, 15-minutes physical activity, performed regularly during eight years, decreased all-cause death rate by 14% and added three years to life expectancy.

Specialists say that the higher level of physical activity you have, the more your life span will be extended.

Recent recommendations from the American Heart Association claim that each of us needs at least 150 minutes of moderate activity (when you can speak but can't sing during exercises) per week. It means that you should spend half an hour every day for your training, or make 10-minutes workouts three times a day.

Aerobic exercises like jogging and fast walking are the perfect choice to make your heart healthier and stronger. But don't forget about strength training, which can enhance your endurance and make muscles work better.

Many of us mistakenly forget about stretching. In fact, these exercises are essential to improve blood circulation in the joints and muscles, to better range of motions and balance. Deep breathing during exercises can enhance oxygenation and heart functioning.

Choose the activity you really like to stay motivated and to take pleasure from workouts.
