#1. Early morning chek-point with yourself
You just woke up. Notice the things you begin your day with, such as your bodily sensations, your emotions, your state of mind. Are you comfortable or tense, is your mind racing or calm? Think of the things you are currently grateful for, even the simplest ones: the softness of your duvet, the morning warmth, the smell of coffee, the enthralling book you’re reading, the fact that you have a home, that your family is there for you. Let those good things anchor you to reality; ultimately, thanks to this practice, you’ll notice that your mind has become capable of resisting negativity.
